There's real depth in balancing which species get along and keeping the water conditions right. Ignore it too long and things go sideways, so it rewards checking in regularly without demanding you glue yourself to it.

The idle progression is generous, which suits a busy schedule. We'd leave it running, come back, and always had a few decisions waiting.
